It had its fair share of those crude jokes that are in every kids' movie now-a-days, but I've learned to just ignore them, because they're everywhere now.
I found the plot really interesting (I've always been into Outer Space; nerdy, I know, but still...) and it was pretty funny. I found myself laughing at it multiple times, and I mean honestly laughing. So, yeah, the storyline, dialouge, all that jazz -- it was good.
But, oh, the animation was AMAZING!
The thing I enjoyed most was simply LOOKING at the characters!
They were so smoothly animated. It was beautiful.
And Lem is the cutest little thing I have ever seen.
I want the DVD when it comes out...
I need to look at the characters some more.
I want to draw them...
I want to draw them so bad!
So if you like animated films, I suggest you see it.
But see it with a youthful mind.
Let your stupid, silly little kid out.
You'll laugh.
